Raindance CEO resigns
The Daily Times-Call
LOUISVILLE — Paul Berberian, co-founder, president and CEO of Raindance Communications, announced Tuesday that he is resigning for personal reasons.
“My recent severe car accident in Hawaii has necessitated a shift in my priorities, requiring me to dedicate my time to my family and our recovery,” Berberian said in a statement issued to the press.
Berberian will continue to serve as chairman of the company’s board of directors and will assist in the transition of Nicholas Cuccaro, Raindance’s chief financial officer, to interim president and CEO.
Formerly Evoke Communications, Raindance is a provider of audio and Internet-based remote conferencing services. The company has seen steady growth, especially following the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
