BOULDER -- A slurry of unconfirmed details have surfaced in the murder of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey , but officials continue to say very little.
Recently, several media sources have reported that JonBenet was found clothed and with her mouth taped, while others have focused on the father's hiring of a criminal defense attorney.
And while anonymous sources have confirmed the ransom note was $118,000, police officials refuse to assert or deny any of the information.
``They're not responding to rumors,'' said Boulder director of communication Leslie Aaholm. ``They're focusing on trying to solve the homicide.''
JonBenet was found strangled to death in her basement the day after Christmas. Several hours before her body was found, her mother called 911 after finding a ransom note.
For the last six days, police have been combing the 15-room home on University Hill for evidence.
Meanwhile, the family took the body to JonBenet's birthplace in Marietta, Ga., for funeral services and burial Tuesday.
Officials were unsure when the Ramsey family would be returning to Boulder.
Since the investigation began, officials have continued to assert that they have ruled no one out as a suspect, but no one suspect has been identified.
Police have taken blood, handwriting and hair samples from family and friends, including JonBenet's father, 9-year-old brother and 20-year-old half brother.
Denver lawyer Bryan Morgan was apparently hired by John Ramsey . Morgan said the reason he was hired was because ``the district attorney has said no one is ruled out'' as a suspect.
