9News came to Legacy Elementary School in Frederick on February 8 to film a segment on the 3rd grade class selling paper hearts in support of Lauren Wells, a former student who was born with a severe heart condition. Proceeds from their Caring-gram sale will be donated toward her cause. For every heart purchased, they will put a heart up on the wall to show the caring support. The goal is to create a garland of hearts that will wrap around the interior hallway of the school.
