DENVER — Law enforcement agencies across Colorado made 355 DUI arrests as part of the Heat Is On campaign over St. Patrick's Day weekend.
The preliminary DUI arrests were reported by the Colorado State Patrol and
58 police and sheriff's departments across Colorado.
The arrests came during the enforcement period that started at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 16, and ended at 3 a.m. on Monday, March 19.
The Colorado State Patrol made 106 DUI arrests.
The Denver Police Department made 29 DUI arrests; the Colorado Springs Police Department made 24 DUI arrests; Aurora Police Department made 21 DUI arrests; Greeley Police Department made 18 DUI arrests; Larimer County Sheriff's Office made
15 DUI arrests; Longmont Police Department made 11 DUI arrests; and the Lakewood Police Department made 10 DUI arrests.

The Colorado State Patrol reported five traffic fatalities over the St. Patrick's Day weekend. It is unknown yet how many of those deaths involved alcohol.
