About the NIE program:

N ewspaper In Education is a nation-wide program for all grade levels instituted to enhance the classroom curriculum. NIE delivers the "most current textbook available" to each classroom in the form of the daily newspaper.

The program re-inforces a positive and lifetime reading habit, and gives students a sense of the community.

The newspapers are paid for by area business sponsors. Funding also comes from our subscriber vacation donation fund.
