Plant Operator I
Duke Energy Field Services, the premier gas gathering and processing company, currently has the following opportunity available in the Fort Lupton, CO area.

Plant Operator I

Operates equipment & systems including (but not limited to) cryogenic plant process controls & measurement, engines & compressors, pumps, pressure relief system, instrument air systems, dehydrators, fuel system, & emergency shutdown systems. Also operates radio, diagnoses mechanical problems, makes minor repairs as needed & monitors field compressor status through use of SCADA. Responsibilities will include spill prevention & reporting as well as monitoring overall environmental compliance.

Must be willing to work rotating shifts & overtime as needed. Must be able to (after job awarded): demonstrate proficiency in basic plant operations & plant specific operations as established by the company; perform duties under stress and/or hazardous conditions; physically perform all duties required; respond to emergency alarms; put on & wear fresh air breathing equipment; work around rotating equipment & high/low pressure gas lines; work in areas requiring hearing & skin protection; respond to callouts nights & weekends. Must have satisfactory safety record & knowledge of safety rules/safe work practices & maintain a reliable means of contact.

Candidate to live or relocate to within 35 miles of reporting location & will be subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
