Responsibilities include performing hands-on warehousing and distribution operations: receiving, storing, transferring and shipping materials and product per standard operating procedures; process and reconcile cycle counts per procedures; identify, report and propose solutions to management in regard to operational issues and process improvement opportunities. Additional responsibilities include training staff in cGMP functions; adherence to required DOT, cGMP, CFR, OSHA and other regulations, as well as Amgen policies; participating in or leading business unit or department specific projects; monitoring and auditing work processes to ensure compliance; regular review of department's standard operation procedures and training material to ensure completeness and accuracy; as well as preparation for regulatory inspections and audits.

The candidates must possess the ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pallet jack; follow complex processes per procedure; ability to pay attention to detail in a fast paced environment; excellent customer service skills with internal customers and external customers; and an understanding of all material handler processes, systems, and responsibilities. Candidate must also obtain a Commercial Driver's License within 90 days of employment start date and maintain the license as required. High school diploma or equivalent experience is required as well as the ability to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis.
