Requires performing customer service, safety and intervention work primarily in the public areas of the Library. Maintain a positive environment in the library by directing customers who appear to need direction. Enforce applicable Library policies and procedures regarding a patron behavior and assist staff in handling difficult patron situation.

Qualifications: Any combination of experience and education equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade and one year of responsible experience requiring frequent public contact. Previous experience performing security duties and bilingual English/Spanish ability are highly desirable.
